The Rocky Mountain Village Estates complex was built during the middle 1990s. There are two condominium buildings, Bergen House and Genesee House, the vast majority of the 130 condominiums are owner occupied. The condominiums, many of which have stunning mountains views, range in size from 617 sq ft to 2,000 sq ft. Each condominium has a gas fireplace, washer/dryer, stove, refrigerator and dishwasher. All units and common areas are covered by a full sprinkler system. All condominiums have two or more emergency bell pulls that link directly with the paramedics, who are just down the road. Each building has a secure electronic front door system with connecting videophone intercoms in each condominium. All external doors are kept securely locked with each resident having a key for access. Each building contains a large multi-use community room, divided by an open fireplace, one side laid out as a lounge area with a grand piano, the other side a dining area and kitchen. Other communal rooms are an exercise room, meeting room, storage rooms, guest suite and library. Additional amenities include a billiard room in Bergen House and a craft/art/activities room and a workshop in Genesee House. All the amenity rooms are for the use of all residents of Rocky Mountain Village Estates. There is sufficient parking with first floor garages in both buildings, covered carports, plus outside parking. There is a one bedroom Guest Suite in both Bergen House and Genesee House, both of which can be rented at the current rate (2023) of $60 per night. Each guest suite has a sofa-bed in the living room, enabling the suites to sleep four. |
